Inauguration session of Training of Immigration Officials at Zia International Airport on Influenza (H1N1) [Swine Flu] was held on 9th May, 2009 at IEDCR. ADG, Director IEDCR, Additional IG of Police Additional SP of ZIA, Chief Health Officer Airport were present at the session. 310 immigration officers will be trained in 10 batches from 9-13 March, 2009 |

| Orientation on Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 [Swine Flu] for Health Personnel of Dhaka City Corporation. Training is ongoing to all the Health Centres of Dhaka City Corporation collaboratively run by NGOs. This health centre will be used as health information centre and referral centre during country level 2 & 3 (Pandemic). In this training health personnel are oriented on Management, Infection Control practices and health messages.In 3 batches all the health personnel will be trained. Surveillance Medical Officers (SMOs) of WHO also in the training. NGOs will be responsible for sending weekly ILI data. |

| Training on Influenza A (H1N1) [Swine Flu] for Health Care Personnel of Zia International Airport was held on 29 & 30th April 2009. A health support desk started functioning in ZIA on 29th April,09. Health workers from other ports (Chittagong Shah Amanat Airport, Sylet MAG Osmani Airport, Chittagong Sea port, Mongla Sea port, Benapole land port, Hili land port, Tamabil land port and Sona masjid land port) were trained on 2nd May,09 . Health support desk was started on 3rd May,09. This training was conducted by Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), National Influenza Center (NIC), Mohakhali, Dhaka-1212, Bangladesh. |
