A Consultative Meeting on National Guidelines for Clinical Management of Pandemic Influenza H1N1-2009 was held on 6th October , 2009 at IEDCR.Medical Professionals ( Assistant. Professors, Associate Professors, Consultant, Professor) of different medical colleges and hopitals were in the meeting. Professor Dr. Mahmudur Rahman ( Director, IEDCR) and Professor Quazi Tarikul Islam (Professor of Medicine, Dhaka Medical COllege) and his team delivered lecture on National Guidelines for Clinical Management of Pandemic Influenza (H1N1)2009. From now all the medical professionals are requested to follow this guideline for treatment of Pndemic (H1N1) 2009 ( Swine Flu ) patients. |

A dissemination seminar on Acute Meningo-Encephalitis Surveillance was held in May 27, 2009 at Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research (IEDCR). Additional Director General of Directorate General of Health Services, Director IPH, Director IEDCR, Head PIDVS ICDDR,B; Medical Officer WHO, Bangladesh was present in the seminar. This is a collaborative surveillance with IEDCR; IPH; Medical College Hospitals (3); WHO; ICDDR,B and CDC, Atlanta. | |
